The Husker Volleyball Team swept its way into the round of 16 of the National Championship Tournament. NU beat Coastal Carolina 3-0 in round 1 and UNI 3-0 in round 2. The Huskers now move on to play in the Regional Semi-Final in Omaha. The Huskers get Iowa State who they split the regular season matches 1-1. In the season series ISU beat NU 3-2 in October, but the Huskers got revenge just 3 weeks later sweeping ISU in Ames, IA. If the Huskers beat ISU they get the winner of Texas vs. Texas A&M, the Big XII is assured of having a team in the Final 4 in Tampa, FL. Texas is the most likely opponent as they are 26-1 on the season and the #2 overall seed in the Tournament. The Huskers are 0-2 against them this year, getting swept both times. Can the Huskers beat ISU and then upset the Texas Longhorns to get to the Final 4?
