Bears get Cutler and a third round pick
Broncos get Kyle Orton and the Bears first round draft pick this year and the first round draft pick next year I don't really know what to think about this.. I think Cutler is overrated but I think that the Bears needed a quarterback. Denver can use the picks for defense but they definitely won't compete in the AFC with Kyle Orton. I would guess that they are targeting Matt Sanchez...hopefully for Broncos fans they are not targeting Josh Freeman. I am interested to hear what bears fans and broncos fans think. as a packer fan i don't like another good qb in the nfc north...but the bears will figure out a way to mess it up i think |

Josh McDaniels is a moron and letting Cutler go? his numbers were decent and going to a 3-4 D is moronic as well. Ho-pe he can still redeem himself and call Joey G. to the rescue...

Personally, I'm a Chiefs fan. So for me, this is a great deal. I'm not nearly as afraid of Orton as I was of Cutler. Jay was the Broncos second coming of John Elway. I'm more than happy to see him playing in the NFC. A bunch of draft picks won't save them this year. Even if they draft a quarterback to replace Cutler and eventually Orton, he will take a couple years to groom. They've really set themselves back. They needed help on the defensive side of the ball. I love it when the Broncos screw up like this. Go Chiefs.

I don't get how the Bears are better either. Their receivers are horrible at best, they also need new OT's on both sides of the O-Line, and to top it off they gave away their best chances to fill those holes in the draft.

The Bears greatly improved their Quarterback spot, there's no question about that. Not in my mind anyway. Definitely need some help at WR, but they are filling the OT spot nicely. They picked up Pace. I know he's older, but he's on his way to the hall and will provide some stability on Cutler's backside until another OT is brought up to replace him. So at least Cutler's blindside will be covered.
